Issac Hayes: 1942-2008

The legendary soul singer and songwriter Issac Hayes died this week at his home in Memphis, Tennessee. The cause is currently unknown. Hayes was “The Prime Oracle” in the episode “Obsession”, from the second season of Sliders. He also starred in such television work as “South Park” and “Stargate SG-1″. He was born in Covington, Tennessee and went on to become a three time Grammy winner. Hayes was 65.
